Communication Methods

  • If your payment terminal is a portable machine that uses a SIM, the communication method is GPRS (Mobile / SIM)
  • If your payment terminal has a base unit and is connected to your internet line, the communication method is Bluetooth (IP / Broadband)
  • If your payment terminal has a base unit and is connected to your standard telephone line, the communication method is
    Bluetooth (PSTN / Landline)
  • If your payment terminal is a fixed device, used in one location, and is it connected to your internet line, the communication method is
    Countertop (IP / Broadband)
  • If your payment terminal is a fixed device, used in one location, and is it connected to your standard telephone line the communication method is Countertop (PSTN / Landline)

Countertop (IP/Broadband)

Communication Issues

If the terminal is showing Connection Failed when processing a payment or End of Day Banking please follow the steps below:

  1. Power the terminal off by switching the terminal off at the power socket in the wall.
  2. Whilst the terminal is powered off, check the power socket and Ethernet socket connections are secure in the terminal and also in the wall socket and internet router.
  3. When powered back on please ensure the handset displays signal and there is an 8 digit number under Bluetooth. As the terminal is connecting via the internet ensure ETH is showing under the communication status icon.

    If the terminal is missing any of these symbols from the screen or not showing correctly please contact the helpdesk.
  4. If all the correct symbols now show on the screen and the cables have been checked please retry the transaction/process again, if this fails to connect please contact the helpdesk.

Installing a ICT 220 (IP)

  1. Connect the ETH cable to the ETH port on the magic box and into the network or router port.
  2. Connect the Power Cable to the power port on the Magic Box and then into the wall socket.
  3. Terminal will now power up.
  4. Terminal will now show Plug in ETH cable and press enter.
  5. Key in Merchant Number and press enter.
  6. If your terminal fails to install, please call the Helpdesk.

Terminal Not Powering on

If the terminal doesn’t power on please follow the steps below:

  1. Make sure the terminal is plugged in and ensure the power is switched on.
  2. Ensure the PSU cable is plugged in firmly to the magic box, disconnect and reconnect in case of lose connections.
  3. If the terminal remains switched off check the PSU cable from the magic box to the socket on the wall for any obvious damage.
  4. Check the Power plug to make sure it is not very hot to the touch, if it is disconnect immediately from the main power socket and contact the helpdesk.
  5. Check the curly wire on the back of the terminal for any damage.
  6. Check the power socket by plugging in another piece of equipment and ensure this is working.
  7. If you have another terminal or a spare PSU on site, try another power supply.
  8. When the terminal powers on, listen for a beep. If there is a beep from the terminal the PSU is working correctly.
  9. If the terminal is still failing to power on, please contact the helpdesk for further advice.

Terminal Not Printing

If the terminal is not printing or has poor quality print please follow the steps below:

  1. Open up the printer lid and check that the black roller bar is complete with the black cog on the right hand side and the black stopper on the left hand side. Ensure the teeth on the black cog are not worn as shown below.

    If the roller bar is not present or has been broken off this will cause the terminal not to print. Please contact the helpdesk to arrange a replacement.
  2. Reload the paper roll — The paper should come from underneath the roll with the shiny side facing you as it is fed through the printer lid.
  3. Clean the printer head using an alcohol wipe or a dry cloth with spirit.
  4. Power the terminal off/on – press the yellow and dot key together
  5. If the terminal still fails to print, try an alternative roll
  6. If the terminal is still failing to print, contact the helpdesk for further advice.

Countertop (PSTN/Landline)

Communication Issues

If the terminal is showing Connection Failed when processing a payment or End of Day Banking please follow the steps below:

  1. Power the terminal off by switching the terminal off at the power socket in the wall.
  2. Whilst the terminal is powered off, check the power socket and Telephone socket connections are secure in the terminal and also in the wall sockets.
  3. If all the cables have been checked and are connected correctly please retry the transaction/process again, if this fails to connect please contact the helpdesk.

Installing a iCT 220 (PSTN)

  1. Connect the phone cable to the IN port on the magic box and then into the Analogue Phone socket on the wall.
  2. Connect the Power Cable to the power port on the Magic Box and then into the wall socket.

Terminal will now power up.

Terminal will now show Plug in phone line and press enter.

Dial Prefix required – Yes/No.

Call Waiting – Yes/No.

Key in Merchant Number and press enter.

If your terminal fails to install, please call the Helpdesk.

Terminal Not Powering on

  1. Make sure the terminal is plugged in and ensure the power is switched on.
  2. Ensure the PSU cable is plugged in firmly to the magic box, disconnect and reconnect in case of lose connections.

  • If the terminal remains switched off check the PSU cable from the magic box to the socket on the wall for any obvious damage.
  • Check the Power plug to make sure it is not very hot to the touch, if it is disconnect immediately from the main power socket and contact the helpdesk.
  • Check the curly wire on the back of the terminal for any damage.
  • Check the power socket by plugging in another piece of equipment and ensure this is working.
  • If you have another terminal or a spare PSU on site, try another power supply.
  • When the terminal powers on, listen for a beep. If there is a beep from the terminal the PSU is working correctly.

    Для подключения терминала требуется:

    Заключенный договор с МКБ (после регистрации Договора в Банке клиенту передается ID терминала) Комплект оборудования Подготовленные коммуникации, для подключения терминала

    Подключение проводов в разъемы:

    Вставляем сим карту в терминал Подключаем питание на терминале Подключаем внешний пин пад (Если используется), описание подключения пин пада идет в инструкции «подключение пин пада».

    Вставляем чековую ленту в терминал Ждем, пока терминал загрузится, на дисплее терминала будет написано «Вставьте карту» Нажимаем на клавиатуре терминала кнопку «5». Далее на дисплее отобразиться административное меню «Настройки».

    Кнопкой вниз спускаемся до пункта «Точки доступа», подтверждаем кнопкой ввода (зеленая кнопка)

    Выбираем кнопкой вниз пункт «Общая», подтверждаем кнопкой ввода (зеленая кнопка) Выбираем кнопкой вниз и кнопкой ввод точки доступа в зависимости от оператора сим карты (Netserver-Meg, TMC — Meg – для сим карты Мегафон), когда нужная точка доступа будет выделена, нажимаем кнопку ввод (зеленая кнопка) и слева знак минус измениться на плюс, то есть данная точка доступа станет активна. Если нужно отменить, то опять нажимаем ввод и плюс смениться на минус, точка доступа станет не активной.

    После того как точки доступа (Netserver и TMC) будут активны, нажимаем кнопку отмены (красная кнопка), на дисплее отобразиться предложение сохранить изменения «да/нет?». Если нужно сохранить, выделяем кнопками «вверх» «вниз» пункт «да» и подтверждаем кнопкой ввода. Если сохранять не нужно выбираем «нет». После подтверждения Вы вернетесь в пункт «Точки доступа», необходимо нажать кнопку отмены (красная кнопка), для выхода в общее меню. Кнопкой вниз спускаемся до пункта «Сессия TMS», подтверждаем зеленой кнопкой. В появившимся меню выбираем пункт «Default», подтверждаем кнопкой ввода (зеленая кнопка)

    Далее на терминале появится «TMS ID» это номер терминала, Вам необходимо стереть указанный ID (желтой кнопкой), вбить единицу + выделенный Вам ID и подтвердить кнопкой ввода.

    Например, для ID терминала 50101234 необходимо вбить 150101234.

    После этого терминал начнет соединяться с сервером Банка, активируя Ваш ID терминала и примет файлы с параметрами и обновлениями. После успешного приема файлов на принтере терминала выйдет слип, где будет указано дата и время обновления. На дисплее терминала проверяем время, дату и номер терминала (ID терминала). Если все корректно, нажимаем на клавиатуре кнопку 1, на дисплее отобразиться «NetServer», подтверждаем кнопкой ввода. Пойдет соединение с сервером Банка (проверка связи), на принтере терминала должен распечататься слип со статусом «успешно».

    Если проверка связи прошла не успешно, необходимо связаться с технической поддержкой Банка. Если проверка Связи прошла успешно, то можно начинать прокатывать карты. Обязательно обратите внимание на слип (терминальный чек) при первой операции, сверьте правильность ID терминала, Юр лицо, адрес, если что-то будет не корректно, Вам необходимо связаться с технической поддержкой Банка. Для работы с терминалом (проведение карт, выполнение отчетов и тд) просим использовать дополнительную инструкцию по работе с терминалом.

    Настоящее руководство по эксплуатации терминала Ingenico ICT220 поможет обеспечить безопасный прием карточных платежей через терминал.

    Настольные платежные терминалы ICT2хх оборудованы:

    • клавиатурой из 19-ти клавиш (15 + 4 функциональные клавиши)
    • графическим дисплеем с подсветкой (128 x 64)
    • ридером смарт-карт
    • ридером магнитных карт
    • бесконтактным ридером карт (опционально)
    • USB-портом для подключения к компьютеру
    • принтером.

    Терминалы ICT250 отличаются от ICT220 наличием цветного дисплея.

    Устранение неисправностей терминала Ingenico ICT220

    Терминал не включается или не подключается к телефонной линии

    • Проверьте кабель питания и телефонные провода.
    • Проверьте работу электросети.

    Не удается установить телефонное подключение

    • Проверьте, что линия свободна.
    • Проверьте настройки телефонной линии и номер вызова.
    • Вызовите службу поддержки.

    Не читается карта

    • Проверьте, что магнитная карта вставляется верно (магнитной полосой к терминалу).
    • Проведите карту еще раз одним быстрым движением.
    • Убедитесь, что магнитная полоса не повреждена и не поцарапана.
    • Убедитесь, что Вы верно вставили смарт-карту в ридер и вытащили лишь после выполнения транзакции.

    Не печатаются чеки

    • Проверьте наличие и верное расположение бумаги для чеков. Расположите рулон, следуя инструкциям в руководстве.
    • Проверьте тип используемой бумаги (должна быть использована термобумага).
